Toddlers
Pre Schoolers
Ages 6 weeks to 18 months, 
Places emphasis on individualized care, close personal attention, and high level of parent-staff communication. We follow your child’s schedule of napping eating and diapering. Experienced caregivers cuddle, talk to and play with your baby stimulating and encouraging cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. The ParkView CDC personalizes the Infant Program to the needs of each infant. Therefore, there is no set program. Infants will be diapered routinely and as needed. Constant communication between parent(s) and staff is necessary.


ParkView Child Development Center strives to reach a balance between “academic” structure and creative social interaction among children. They gain early literacy skills in our high-quality environments where learning through play and experience is practiced throughout the day. A goal of the program is to encourage children to make simple and appropriate choices emphasizing planning, working, and evaluating which establishes personal responsibility. The staff member’s suggestions set the stage for key experiences that stimulate the child’s thinking processes, language development, and social development.
Ages 3-4 years
Places emphasis in providing key early literacy skills: alphabetic knowledge, phonological awareness, print awareness, and oral language skills in preschool children to build the foundation for future reading success. 

The goals of the “Early Reading First” preschool program are to increase literacy skills of preschool children, early identification of cognitive, social, emotional, and language delays, assist center as they strive for excellence, and ensure that children enter kindergarten ready to learn.  




Ages 18 months to 24 months,
Is also coordinated between parents and caregivers. Toddlers are encouraged to satisfy their natural curiosity and to explore the various play areas and activities will be continuously guided by their caregivers. Structured activities such as circle time, outdoor play and introduction to arts and crafts will be directed by staff. An individual notebook will also be kept for daily notes between parents and caregivers.

Before & After Care
The Park View CDC offers before and after care school care for children ages 5-12. Our program allows children the freedom to play, relax, work on a special project, or spend some time on homework. Assistance with homework is available. Snacks are provided after school. Outdoor play is available to children in the afternoon, weather permitting. Child care is available too for children enrolled in the before and after school program on days when schools are closed.

Ages 24 months to 36 months
This is the classroom in which children learn to be independent. The focus of the two year old class is to learn through play. The two's are encouraged to use their language skills, stack objects, and start counting. The teacher sets goals to develop the childrens social skills, patience, sharing, and listening skills. They are also encouraged to used the potty in preperation for the preschool classroom.
